Bistro Style Date Night Idea
Let's get real. Date night just isn't what it used to be since becoming a MOM. But! Getting a sitter, coordinating schedules with your significant other, and dressing up doesn't have to be so stressful.
The best part about a Bistro Style date night is, the convenience. Cooking a delicious meal with your lover at home offers you the flexibility you need. Plus, cooking together creates a bond together. Also! The dine-in option is the best alternative when you don't have a sitter.
Personally, I like to begin date night after bedtime (my kids are 2yrs and 1yr old), that way I know our date won't be interrupted. A late dinner, maybe between 8pm and 9pm, makes the vibes feel laid back and relaxing. Plan one this week, simply choose a day that's best for you.
The best meal to cook really depends on what you want to eat. My go to meals are Pasta, Mexican food, or Sushi (sushi prep makes for a super fun night).
It doesn't take much to prepare for a Bistro Style Date Night. Flowers, drink of choice, and flowers are all you need for a romantic setting. Because it's at home, you can wear ANYTHING you want.
Parenting can be a bit much at times and some R&R time with your lover is the quickest way to recharge. Such a simple idea can make the world of difference.
